Product information
Our textiles are all handpicked in the UK. We rework and repair vintage textiles so that they can be repurposed into beautifully tailored fashion items.
Our primary textile is 100% vintage cotton and pre-loved 100% cotton.
Other textiles we occasionally source are made from vintage:
50% cotton, 50% polyester
100% Silk
Vintage Viscose mixed threads
Textiles that we will never use are:
100% New Polyester
The exception:
We avoid sourcing 100% Vintage Polyester unless the print is just too incredible to ignore or unless a Design requires a lightweight fabric. On this rare occasion we only use Vintage or discarded Polyester.
As a Slow fashion Brand Customers that provide their own textile can provide any fabric with the exception of 100% New Polyester. We accept all other fabrics, including recycled Polyester.
We occasionally source UK deadstock for bespoke Customer Designs in small end of production batches, typically never in more than 10 meters long so that we retain our slow fashion ethos. We never source Polyester or synthetic deadstock.

The majority of our vintage and Limited Edition textiles are made from vintage cotton. Occasionally, we find incredible prints originally made for the purpose of upholstery of which we repurpose for tailoring. These textiles range from silk, cotton, viscose and polycotton.
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR GARMENT:
- Handwash gently in lukewarm water with a small amount of fabric detergent and conditioner. Rinse thoroughly and hang outside to dry.
- Do not wash in a washing machine. Vintage fabrics are uniquely delicate and should be handwashed or dry cleaned only.
- We also advise Customers to air their garments outside or to steam their garment for minor marks or odours. This is the most sustainable method to care for your garment.
- To remove creases we advise a steamer on a low heat or iron on a low heat gently on repeat until creases diminish. Hanging your garment to dry is the most effective method to remove the majority of creases created after washing or cleaning.

F.A.Q.
They appreciate details, things that aren't so obvious.
Can I make changes to my order after it’s been placed?
We cut and make each custom design order within 8 hours of orders being placed. After this time it is not possible to make any changes to a custom order. If a mistake has been made when inputting your measurement information, contact us immediately and we will do our best to refit the already cut textile back to your correct measurements.
Do you ship to international customers?
We ship from the UK to Europe and to the U.S.
Can I Return Customised Items?
Customised Orders cannot be returned unless faulty.
We do not currently offer free returns to overseas customers. You will therefore need to cover all costs of returning any items to us yourself. We advise that you mark your package ‘returned goods’ to avoid further duties. Remember: We strongly recommend that you return any items via a registered trackable service and obtain and retain proof of posting as we do not accept responsibility for items that fail to arrive with us.
